BSA FIS Camps

FIS training runs throughout the Summer and Autumn, going into the start of the Winter season in Aosta. Camps are tailored to meet the needs of the participants and are in a variety of locations throughout the Alps, interleaved with our Under 16 camps in Saas Fee as well as indoor training at Wittenburg (Germany) and Snow Valley (Belgium).

Regular Monday evening training at Stoke Ski Centre.

September 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th

Sessions will be 6pm - 7.30pm. Please meet one of our BSA staff at the bottom of the hill 10 minutes prior to the session to get ready and make sure we can get on the slope for 6pm.

Sessions will involve skills, drills, stubbies and gates and be lead by one of our BSA alpine coaching team.

Individual sessions are open for bookings by emailing fraser@britskiacad.org.uk and are £25 per session.


07 - 28 September 2021

Regular Tuesday evening training at Firpark Ski Centre.

September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

Sessions will be 6pm - 7.30pm. Please meet one of our BSA staff at the bottom of the hill 10 minutes prior to the session to get ready and make sure we can get on the slope for 6pm.

Sessions will involve skills, drills, stubbies and gates and be lead by one of our BSA alpine coaching team.

Individual sessions are open for bookings by emailing fraser@britskiacad.org.uk and are £25 per session.

Session cost £30

  • The British Ski Academy will not be liable for fees, costs, losses or charges, outside of the camp fee, that you may incur as a result of cancellation.
  • Every effort will be made to give as much notice as possible if we need to cancel but this is not always within our control and so we cannot be held responsible for late notice.
  • Information regarding the event will be sent to the email address provided on sign-up. Please make sure that this is correct as The British Ski Academy cannot be held responsible if information is not received because of an incorrect email address.
  • If you wish to cancel your entry, notice must be emailed to The British Ski Academy administration email address : info@britskiacad.org.uk .

BSA training session taking place at Chill Factore (Manchester)

Sessions will be led by our BSA alpine coaching team and include a variety of skills, drills, stubbies, gates and much much more!!

Autumn Glacier Camp Kit Transfer

We are able to transfer a limited amount of kit from the UK (Edinburgh and London pick up points) to the glacier training camp in Saas Fee.

The cost for this is £70 for a return transfer for 1 ski bag and 1 kit bag (Easyjet, as an example, charge £37 each way for a ski bag, meaning a saving of at least £4 before taking into account the cost for the kit bag).

Pick up from Scotland on 7th October and London on 8th October (locations to be confirmed)

Drop off in London on 2nd November and Scotland on 3rd November (locations to be confirmed).

Please Note:

All kit, including skis themselves, need to be clearly labelled.

Check your insurance to confirm the cover provided for items that are not with you.

Whilst every care and precaution will be taken to ensure that your kit is kept safe and secure, the BSA cannot accept liability for any loss or damage that may occur whilst the items are in their possession

Saas Fee Autumn Glacier Training

We will be returning to our usual location for a glacier training camp starting on Sunday 10th October and running through until Sunday 31st October. The camp will provide Slalom and GS training for U12 - FIS along with regular fitness sessions and activities.

Our full coaching team will be on hand to ensure that everyone gets as much as possible out of the training time.

Camp costs, not including travel, insurance or equipment:
