BSA FIS Camps

FIS training runs throughout the Summer and Autumn, going into the start of the Winter season in Aosta. Camps are tailored to meet the needs of the participants and are in a variety of locations throughout the Alps, interleaved with our Under 16 camps in Saas Fee as well as indoor training at Wittenburg (Germany) and Snow Valley (Belgium).

We will be running the ever popular Pembrey race camp again this August. We are offering a 3 day programme that runs from 0930 to 1600, Wednesday 19th August to Friday 21st August.

This BSA camp is a great opportunity to improve or fine-tune your racing technique, ski fitness and race strategy. The trainees change activity on a regular basis and competitions are held every afternoon. Top up your training with our expert coaches before the holidays end. Learn new skills and make new friends.

Home of the West Wales Ski Club, Pembrey ski centre is located in a beautiful park (with caravan facilities) on the Carmarthenshire coast. With sandy beaches close by the, programme can be described as "Ski, Ski, Jump in the Sea!" We are offering a five day training camp from Monday 24th to Friday 28th August in Norfolk leading up to the All England Championships on Saturday 29th.

N.B. Race Entry is NOT included

Full Residential Package (very limited numbers) :

Residential with training from Monday 26th to Friday 30th August (4 nights) and Race Support on Saturday for the All England Champs - £800.

Lowlands Championships 22nd - 27th September

We have arranged a training programme from Tuesday 22nd September until Friday 25th September and race support for the races on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September at Landgraaf in Holland.

Given the uncertainty around restrictions that may be placed on travel arrangements as a result of coronavirus, we will be announcing the options once we are sure of the most suitable and safest way to travel.

Once these have been received confirmation of acceptance onto the camp will be sent to you . Submission of a deposit and/or registration form is not confirmation of acceptance onto the camp.
  • Because of the current uncertainty around travel and event restrictions, full payment for the camp will be required 6 weeks before the camp unless government guidance (either in Europe or the UK) still advises against all but essential international travel. This does not apply to the potential for quarantine arrangements upon arrival or return; payment will still be required to secure your child's place on the camp regardless of whether a two week quarantine will be required upon arrival in Holland or return to the UK.

Cancellation:

  • If we cancel the camp more than 6 weeks before the start date, your deposit will be fully refunded.
  • The British Ski Academy will not be liable for fees, costs, losses or charges, outside of the camp fee, that you may incur as a result of cancellation.

English Alpine Championships 2021

As well as usual full time training programme in the Aosta valley, we are offering a camp, based in Bormio Italy, ahead of the planned 2021 English Alpine Championships.

The two week camp commences with accompanied flights from Edinburgh and London on Saturday 6th February. We will be based in a hotel in the town and will train on surrounding slopes leading up to the start of the races on Sunday 14th February. There will be the option to stay and train with us on a full residential basis with accompanied return flights on Saturday 20th February or to continue from Saturday 13th February as an outlier with race support only.

What's included:

  • Flight accompaniment from London or Edinburgh on Saturday 6th February with transfer to Bormio
  • Full board residential programme including race training, ski prep, fitness training and tutorial support (6th - 20th February)
  • Lift pass from Sunday 7th until Friday 19th February
  • Transfer from Bormio to the airport of Saturday 20th February and flight accompaniment to London or Edinburgh

One week Residential and One Week Outlier Programme £2150

  • Flight accompaniment from London or Edinburgh on Saturday 6th February with transfer to Bormio

  • Outlier race training/race support including lunch from Sunday 14th until Friday 19th February
  • Lift ticket from Sunday 7th until Friday 19th February.

Once these have been received confirmation of acceptance onto the camp will be sent to you . Submission of a deposit and/or registration form is not confirmation of acceptance onto the camp.
  • Because of the current uncertainty around travel and event restrictions, full payment for the camp will be required 8 weeks before the camp unless government guidance (either in Italy or the UK) still advises against all but essential international travel. This does not apply to the potential for quarantine arrangements upon arrival or return; payment will still be required to secure your child's place on the camp regardless of whether a two week quarantine will be required upon arrival in Italy or return to the UK.

Cancellation:

  • If we cancel the camp more than 8 weeks before the start date, your deposit will be fully refunded.
  • The British Ski Academy will not be liable for fees, costs, losses or charges, outside of the camp fee, that you may incur as a result of cancellation.
  • Every effort will be made to give as much notice as possible if we need to cancel the camp but this is not always within our control and so we cannot be held responsible for late notice.
